Overtime Sportfishing was founded in 2023 by Chris Correia and his father, Frank Correia. Proud natives of Bristol, R.I., Chris and Frank have spent more than 20 years fishing the waters of New England—both recreationally and commercially.

They created Overtime Sportfishing to share unforgettable on-the-water experiences and their extensive knowledge with charter guests of all skill levels. Their passion for the ocean and fishing has always been something they enjoyed sharing with family and friends, and they are excited to extend that passion to every guest who steps aboard.

Specializing in tuna, striped bass, sea bass, fluke (flounder), and tautog, Overtime Sportfishing offers fully customized trips tailored to each guest’s goals—whether exploring offshore grounds or targeting inshore species.

Capt. Chris has dedicated his entire professional career to sportfishing, running boats full-time for charter, private use, and high-level tournament competition. He has traveled extensively throughout the East Coast and the Caribbean, targeting a wide range of pelagic species including marlin, sailfish, swordfish, tuna, and wahoo.

With years of experience across these world-class fisheries, Chris is excited to bring his expertise back home to the Northeast and share his knowledge, skills, and passion with every charter guest who steps aboard.

Capt. Frank has spent the majority of his professional career in the technology field, but that work has also afforded him the opportunity to spend most of his free time on the water. With more than 40 years of boating and fishing experience throughout the coastal waters of southern Rhode Island and Massachusetts, Frank has enjoyed hosting guests on both fishing and sightseeing excursions—targeting giant bluefin tuna, striped bass, sea bass, and fluke.

Capt. Frank is excited to share his extensive local knowledge and decades of experience with all of his upcoming charter guests.
